Winterfest of Lights is a holiday treat that we enjoy every year.  This year, due to COVID, they did not offer the tram ride through the park to view the lights.  It was a walking tour.  The light displays are "old school" so don't expect animated LED videos or high tech laser lights.  These are the bulb stings of old, but yes the do "animate."  I can't even guess how many lights they use.  There have to be 50 or more displays.  Basically you walk (or ride when the tram is offered) around the whole park with light displays everywhere you look.  The ones along side the water are particularly beautiful.  This is a MUST SEE if you are near OC from late Nov until after Christmas.  You'll see Santa's doing things, reindeer flying and jumping, all 12 days of Christmas animated, penguins and even a Jaws shark.  All for only $5 per person.

Looking for something exciting and different to do?  Try parasailing.  We had a great time going out on the Assawoman Bay with 3 other couples and flying around the bay.  What a view.  The whole ride was probably around an hour, each couple went up separately and up for maybe 10 mins.  The wind lifts you gently off the back of the boat and you are sailing over the water.  The skilled crew reeled us in with a gentle lending back on the boad.  The ride was smooth from beginning to end.  I'd highly recommend this adventure on your vacation.

Renting jet skis at Shark's Cove is a fun activity for the family.  The jet skis we rented sat 2 people so we didn't need one ski per person.  The guide takes you out into the Little Assawoman Bay (north of the bridge at Rt. 54), to a wide open area with little other boating traffic.  Instruction was quick and the skis were easy to use for first-timers.  Coupons can be found in the local coupon books.

Had a great time with our family at Lost Treasure.  Two courses to choose from.  Well kept and challenging holes.  After we finished they told us if we kept our score card we could come back as often as we want in the next 5 days and play for $5/person.  One of us also won a free game by getting a hole in one on the hole of the day.  Fun time.  Right on Coastal Hwy, not far from the DE border.
